Members of the Priestess of Kernow Group use
their gifts and abilities to help
weave and spin the webs of this magical county on all levels. |
To
become acknowledged as part of the Priestess of Kernow Group women must show-
a) that they celebrate the Goddess in Kernow
b) that they have commitment to and experience with their spiritual path
c) that they have commitment to and experience of working with the land and the
people of Kernow
Priestess
of Kernow Apprenticeship Training
The purpose of the training
apprenticeship is to fertilize and nurture the seeds of wisdom already present,
so that those seeds can grow, unfold, and flourish.
Part of the Core Training will be completed at the Hearth of an Ordained
Priestess of Kernow in your area - North Cornwall, Mid Cornwall, West Cornwall.
The Core Training and the gestation period will allow for several one to one
Apprenticeship training sessions. Core Topics include - Beginnings & Altars,
Working with Moon Phases and Eight Festivals, Calling in the Elements of the
Quarters, Tuning in to Goddess Energy, Divination and Healing. The Core Training
at the Hearth will be supplemented by full day workshops with our Senior
Trainers. Topics include - Finding your Inner Priestess, The Goddess in
Cornwall, Journeying to the Goddess, Ceremony, Finding Creativity with the
Goddess, Becoming your vision. In addition there will be opportunity to network
with other members of the Priestess of Kernow Group at seasonal gatherings and
celebrations.
These workshops will
explore the richness
of the magical invisible realms, in order to find the inner
light and beauty
that harmonise the divine dance with all of life.
The Core will be followed by a 9month period to gestate and birth each woman's inner
Goddess/Priestess.
At the end of this period participants will become acknowledged
members of the
Priestess of Kernow Group.

Trainers are all women who have a deep spiritual connection with
Cornwall, and who wish to share their hard earned knowledge gained through many
years of experience in service of the Goddess
Cheryl Straffon-
Goddess writer, Priestess, landscape guide of Kernow. Editor of Meyn Mamvro
magazine, plus Britain’s best Goddess magazine, Goddess Alive!. Initiator and
co-organiser of the now annual Goddess in Cornwall Festival.
Geraldine McCarthy- artist, writer, astrologer, teacher of Wiccan tradition. Priestess.
Grandmother, Has led Wheel of the Year open rituals for 20yrs.
Co-organiser & workshop facilitator for Goddess
in Cornwall Festival.
Katinka Soatens- artist, dancer, teacher. Priestess of Avalon,
facilitator & ceremonialist at Glastonbury Goddess Festival.
Marj Rowland-
visionary, healer, counsellor, artist/designer. Teacher of Celtic/British
Shamanic traditions. Priestess of Sophia. Grandmother learning to become an
elder.
Training Melissas are drawn from the recently Ordained Priestesses of
Kernow and senior Trainees

We are pledged to make the Training available at low cost to all women who
feel called to follow it and become a Priestess of Kernow.
The cost of the Core Apprenticeship
Training for the
Priestess of Kernow Group
is a total of £300 for the Core Training, Gestation period, and Workshop days,
plus personal mentoring as required.
There is a concessionary rate of £200 (low pay & unwaged) Payment
instalments can be arranged, but there will be a 10% admin fee.
